Canoe ride on the Napo River.
Arrive to the PROTECTED FOREST “MISICOCHA” of the Jungle Lodge El Jardin Aleman of one square kilometer and hike in the forest. Admire the extraordinary flora and the exotic sounds of the primary rainforest. If you are lucky see toucans, oropendulos, parrots and small monkeys. Your local Indian guide will explain you flora and fauna of the Amazon Region with special emphasis to medicinal plants. Lunch in the jungle. Embark the canoe and ride upstream to visit an Indian village and see how to prepare “chicha”, a fermented yuca drink and if you like taste it. The natives will show you their traditional dance and invite you to join them. Here you can buy also handicraft made by the natives. Return to the Lodge in the afternoon.
Departure from the beach of Misahualli village by canoe. Arrive to the Kamamaki Ethnic Museum organized by native women. They teach you about their culture and way of living. Walk along the Misahualli River to the small village of Pununo where we cross a suspended bridge and enter the territory of the Indian Community of “Alto Pununo”. See A huge, hundreds of years old Ceibo Tree. Continue to the bridge of the Pununo River and go back to on the left shore of the Misahualli River to the Pununo Community. Back to Lodge.
Start your hike directly from the lodge and your native guide shows you first the typical plants native people use daily. Than you enter the jungle and hike until you arrive to a amazing rocky formation. Pass this huge rocky formation, like a labyrinth with open caves and an amazing vegetation. All is natural, but it seems to by a Hollywood arrangement for an adventure film. Don ́t forget to ask your guide to show you the tiny coloured dart-poison frogs.
Hike to the silicon mine on the Misahualli River. Silicon is white sand used to make glass and ceramic. At this area you will find three different waters coming out of the ground: white water with sulpha, black water with petrol and normal spring water. The smell of sulpha attracts a lot of butterflies and other tropical insects. It is also a preferred place for parrots. This is geologically one of the oldest areas of the Alto Napo Region. Continue and admire the water masses that press through the narrow gorge.
Only 15 min by car you can visit the small waterfalls. Don ́t forget your swimming suite. First hike about 45 min. stream up to arrive by the waterfalls. Here you can take a refreshing bath in the natural pool.
On the way back you will find the natural water slides that ends in a good filled waterpool.

Far far away, behind the word mountains, far from the countries Vokalia and Consonantia, there live the blind texts. Separated they live in Bookmarksgrove right at the coast of the Semantics, a large language ocean. A small river named Duden flows by their place and supplies it with the necessary regelialia.
It is a paradisematic country, in which roasted parts of sentences fly into your mouth. Even the all-powerful Pointing has no control about the blind texts it is an almost unorthographic life One day however.
