The day begins early in the morning, after breakfast the guide will pick us up to begin the journey to the south of the country.
The hacienda is forty-five minutes from Quito, close enough so that you can enjoy a day of horseback riding and return to the hotel.
La Alegria hacienda let you to know the landscapes of the Ecuadorian mountains that can only be seen from the back of a horse, since we are in the valley of 9 Volcanoes, the green valley of Machachi, participants can be beginner level riders or experienced.
This day tour includes a horse ride of 2 to 5 hours depending on the preference of the clients. You will travel around the local farms or, for the more adventurous, one of the several mounts that surround us, from where you can enjoy beautiful views of the “Avenue of the Volcanoes”. On our return you can enjoy a delicious lunch at the Hacienda. Our meals are a mix of local and international cuisine, prepared with fresh and local ingredients. In the afternoon you can enjoy a short walk around the hacienda and Learn about the activity of a cattle ranch in production.
Before going out to the mountains you will be given instructions and a practice in the closed circle and then on one of the courts, you will be able to demonstrate your ability to jog and gallop with máximum safety. For us, your safety comes first and you can enjoy a unique experience.
